QA/QC Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO 9001 standards
• Ensure construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and UAE regulatory requirements
• Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective/preventive actions
• Oversee QA/QC activities across civil, structural, mechanical, or infrastructure works
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals
• Lead and manage QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and document control teams
• Maintain quality documentation including NCRs, CARs, and audit reports
• Identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 15–20 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry
• Minimum 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of construction standards and QA/QC procedures
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance
• Proficiency in QA/QC documentation and reporting tools
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
• Experience in large-scale projects in UAE or GCC
• Membership in a recognized engineering body
