QA/QC Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and UAE local regulatory authority requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee QA/QC activities across multiple construction projects, including civil, structural, and mechanical works.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
• Lead and manage QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and document control teams.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders on quality-related matters.
• Maintain quality documentation, including NCRs, CARs, and audit reports.
• Identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry.
• Minimum of 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience in large-scale projects within the UAE or GCC region.
• Membership in a recognized engineering body.
