QA/QC Inspector – Structure & Finishing (Civil)

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural works including formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and steel works
• Monitor and inspect finishing works including block masonry, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, paint, and façade works
• Verify compliance of construction activities with approved drawings, project specifications, and international codes
• Review and maintain QA/QC documentation such as inspection requests, checklists, test reports, and NCRs
• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, ITPs, and quality control procedures
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections
• Report quality issues, propose corrective actions, and follow up for closure
• Verify that approved materials are used at site and relevant quality tests are conducted
• Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with the project quality plan

Requirements

• DAE (Civil) or B.Sc. Civil Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of QA/QC experience in structural and finishing works on large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of structural and finishing works with QA/QC practices
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS
• Ability to work on construction sites under varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 9001 QMS certification
• QA/QC Inspector Training certification
