QAOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and promote best practices for quality engineering, automation standards, and release validation
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks and QAOps infrastructure for UI, API, and backend testing
• Improve automation coverage by converting manual validation into automated testing
• Analyze test results, production trends, and system telemetry to identify risks
• Support release readiness activities including QA sign-off and deployment validation

Requirements

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Software development experience in Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, or C#
• Experience building automation frameworks for modern web applications (React/TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Proficiency with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Robot Framework
• Experience with backend/API testing tools like REST Assured or Postman
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and/or GCP
• Knowledge of JIRA and defect tracking tools
• Experience troubleshooting client-server architectures and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with performance, resiliency, chaos, or scalability testing
• Familiarity with shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing or automation analytics
