QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned portions of test plans outlined by test scripts
• Enter high-quality bug reports based on department standards and perform accurate regressions
• Manage bug entries to minimize invalid and duplicate issues
• Utilize bug databases and test case management software
• Provide qualitative and subjective feedback to the production team
• Gather proactive information to clarify technical issues
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding proprietary information

Requirements

• Experience working on PC and Console game projects as a tester
• Strong attention to detail and a relentless approach to tracking down bugs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX, Monday through Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
• Ability to commit to a short-term contract of up to 4 months

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of professional experience as a QA Tester
• Experience testing within Unreal Engine environments
• Experience executing test cases and suites using management systems
• Passion for gaming across various platforms and genres
