QA Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Vertiv products
• Write test plans, cases, and conditions to ensure effective coverage
• Implement automation test plans, scripts, and tools across integrated applications
• Log and track defects using designated tracking systems
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for various integrated applications
• Collaborate with Development, Program Management, and QA leadership to develop test strategies
• Perform test result analysis and create detailed test reports

Requirements

• BE in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, or a related technical discipline
• 3-7 years of related experience in QA testing
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl, or Shell
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience with API Testing, Integration Testing, and Test-Driven Development
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience in code development (Java, C++, C#, or .Net)
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Thermal and Power devices configuration and testing
• Experience with AI tools like Claude code
• Experience with security and load testing for cloud applications
• Experience with TestRail or similar defect management tools
