QA Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance testing, analysis, and technical support for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
• Perform analysis of blends and finished products to ensure all specifications are met
• Interface with production personnel and management to maintain operating conditions and implement laboratory specifications
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the food safety and quality management system
• Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and OH&S regulations
• Participate in health and safety programs, including incident investigations and the use of required personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
• Excellent written, documentation, and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
