About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collect product and process samples and conduct analysis per SOPs and work instructions
  • Perform day-to-day analyses in analytical chemistry, microbiology, sensory, packaging quality, and raw materials
  • Analyze data, provide professional opinions, and document all results accurately
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and maintain cleanliness of work areas and lab ware
  • Order supplies and ship samples as needed
  • Provide feedback for process and method improvements
  • Support quality improvement experiments and projects assigned by senior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and work-related experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to lift objects up to 80 lbs and carry for a short distance
  • Ability to lift up to 37 lbs overhead and perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, squatting, and reaching
