QA Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor all quality assurance and food safety activities and implement corrections
• Perform tests at specified production stages for temperature, defects, and code dates
• Conduct quality analysis of incoming dry goods and verify specifications
• Maintain calibration and logs for all laboratory instruments
• Prepare laboratory equipment and solutions
• Collect retention samples on a shiftly basis
• Evaluate data and write reports to indicate deviations from standards
• Communicate directly with operators and production personnel to resolve quality issues

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a Quality Assurance or Food Safety role within a manufacturing facility
• Ability to read and interpret quality documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to solve quality process problems
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
