QA Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Quality Assurance Scientists, Technicians, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Develop and implement innovative, advanced methods for product and process analysis, including SOPs, training documentation, and control charts.
• Provide technical guidance on decisions concerning product quality, corrective actions, and product disposition.
• Apply advanced methods, such as Design of Experiments, to solve complex problems and improve products and processes.
• Mentor and train employees, customers, suppliers, and industry professionals in areas of technical expertise.
• Lead major projects and focused improvement efforts, providing both long-term strategic direction and short-term detailed plans for the Quality department.
• Collaborate with other departments to support process improvements and participate in industry collaborations to validate test methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and related work experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of on-the-job experience.
• Expert working knowledge in disciplines such as Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, Material Quality, or Quality Systems.
• Ability to lift objects up to 80 pounds and carry for 3 steps.
• Ability to lift objects up to 37 pounds overhead and perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, squatting, and reaching.

• Post graduate degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Recognized industry expertise and a strong reputation among peers.
