QA/QC PLC Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise PLC panel assembly activities to ensure compliance with design drawings and technical specifications
• Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections, including wiring accuracy, functionality tests, and documentation reviews
• Perform PLC panel power-up, IO checkout, and logic/HMI internal testing
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) both internally and with clients
• Collaborate with the design team to manage red markups and resolve discrepancies in drawings or wiring
• Prepare detailed progress and quality reports highlighting key metrics and improvement areas
• Ensure all work complies with QCS2014 and established safety protocols
• Maintain proper documentation of all inspections, test procedures, and findings

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related technical field
• 7-8 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in automation, PLC panel assembly, or system integrator environments
• Strong knowledge of PLC wiring techniques and industrial automation standards
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing electrical schematics, design drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Qatar Visa with NOC
• Valid driving license
