About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop QA/QC procedures for CCGT project execution in accordance with PPA, EPC Contract, and ISO standards
- Review quality documents, including MSRA, ITP, inspection checklists, and procedures submitted by the EPC Contractor
- Lead QA/QC engineers in monitoring and inspecting EPC Contractor works across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings and technical specifications
- Identify and highlight quality-related issues to the construction team and provide technical advice
- Support the Project Manager/Director with tasks related to project schedule controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically in CCGT Power Plants
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards, including ASME, API, and IEEE
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to coordinate with EPC contractors and internal departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working on projects within the GCC region
