QA QC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine QA/QC plans for construction projects, including inspection and testing protocols.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Scrutinize construction documentation, blueprints, and specifications to identify and resolve potential quality challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address quality issues and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure all construction materials and equipment meet required quality standards and certifications.
• Execute inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components, and systems.
• Maintain meticulous records of all QA/QC activities and generate comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders.
• Organize and deliver training sessions to educate construction teams on QA/QC best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction QA/QC.
• Proficiency in construction codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong command of quality control and quality assurance processes.
• Competence in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
• Proficiency in using specialized QA/QC software and tools.
