QA/QC Engineer - Piping

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for piping fabrication projects
• Review and interpret piping system specifications, blueprints, and project requirements
• Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems, including welds, joints, and materials
• Identify non-conformance issues and initiate corrective actions
• Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective actions to ensure effective resolution
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspection processes and findings
• Collaborate with project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• Minimum of 13 years of experience as a QC Engineer in Oil & Gas projects
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification
• ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT
• CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-SCWI certification
• Mandatory knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ASME Section IX
• Hands-on experience in welding, NDT, and coating/painting
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Fluent English communication skills
