QA/QC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in accordance with project quality plans
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify quality standards across civil, architectural, and MEP works
• Identify, issue, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve quality issues
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits and project handover
• Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet required standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• 7-12+ years of QA/QC experience, including experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects in the UAE/Middle East
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, QA/QC procedures, and audit processes
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IEC, NFPA, BS) and UAE regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
• Specific experience in airport or critical infrastructure projects
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
