QA Manual Tester

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and define testing scope
• Develop test plans, strategies, and scenarios
• Write detailed test cases covering functional and non-functional aspects
• Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and retesting
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution
• Ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality
• Conduct final testing before software release
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders for quality assurance
• Write basic SQL queries and MongoDB commands to validate data integrity
• Perform basic validation of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint integrations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in manual software testing
• Experience with test management & bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Strong understanding of Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, Functional, Non-function, Regression, Retesting, Smoke & Sanity Testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SQL queries & MongoDB for data validation
• Basic knowledge of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint
• Understanding of Linux commands for debugging and log analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration
