QA Lead | Performance Testing

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall performance testing strategy across large-scale B2B and B2C web platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of performance test engineers.
• Act as the primary performance testing point of contact for customer stakeholders.
• Translate business and non-functional requirements into clear, actionable performance goals.
• Review test results and guide teams on performance optimization and system improvements.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience in performance testing with strong hands-on expertise.
• Proven experience in a Lead or Manager role managing performance testing teams.
• Strong hands-on experience scripting performance tests using k6 and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics.
• Experience defining performance strategies for complex enterprise systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior customer and engineering stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as Artillery.io, JMeter (BlazeMeter), or LoadRunner.
• Proficiency with monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Java with Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with the automotive domain or large-scale web platforms.
