About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished or in-process electronic assemblies, including printed circuit boards, cables, wires, and components
- Inspect treatments such as conformal coating, bonding, and masking
- Assist Supervisor in daily work assignments and prioritization, acting as supervisor back-up
- Use naked eye, microscope, and X-RAY to perform 1st Article and final inspections
- Apply IPC-A-610 REV H guidelines and customer requirements to determine defects
- Route defects for rework and re-inspect
- Communicate trends and areas of concern to the Quality Supervisor
- Execute AOI inspections as needed
- Complete inspection documentation as required
Requirements
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in reading and writing English
- IPC-A-610 knowledge (certification or equivalent on-the-job training required)
- Recent experience performing PCBA inspection within the last 2 years
