QA Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review Manufacturing and Technical Audits audit reports
• Quickly identify any gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Be onsite in factory and work in process improvement with factory Management
• Accompany QIMA auditor onsite during review audits
• Review PSI reports and identify failures for improvement with factories
• Drive improvement on specific areas within agreed timelines
• Conduct weekly meetings with brands to identify focus points and plan onsite missions
• Perform onsite missions at factories approximately 65% of the time

Requirements

• Textile or Mechanical Engineering degree
• At least 10 years of experience in textile/apparel manufacturing and quality
• Strong technical background, preferably in garment technology
• Solid manufacturing experience in addition to QC background
• Strong field-based capability combined with office-based reporting and coordination
• Ability to train, coach, and influence suppliers
• High credibility with mill engineers and technical teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured follow-up mindset
• Good written English communication and expression skills
