QA Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Build a test-driven and user-centric engineering environment to drive quality improvements
• Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple product lines
• Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test efforts for multiple platforms
• Identify, track, and report KPI trends throughout the project lifecycle
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression or A/B tests
• Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
• Own the creation of metrics to measure and monitor product performance
• Partner with Automation and Infrastructure teams to leverage automation for reliability and scalability

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience driving Quality Assurance (QA) strategy or equivalent experience
• Experience debugging applications on platforms, PCs, and mobile components
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• Proficiency in coding with Python, PHP, Java, C/C++, or equivalent languages
• Proven experience partnering and collaborating across multiple cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining commercial software for consumer electronic devices
• Experience in quality assurance within the virtual reality (VR) domain
• Experience managing both black box and white box testing methodologies
• Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
