About the role
Responsibilities
- Own comprehensive testing approaches from concept to delivery, including test plans, automation frameworks, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with development, product management, and customer support to integrate quality practices throughout the SDLC
- Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated test frameworks for API, UI, integration, and regression testing
- Lead a remote team of testers by delegating work, providing guidance, and offering mentorship
- Report and track bugs with detailed reproduction steps and perform root cause analysis for critical issues
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software outcomes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance
- 2+ years of experience in a test automation development role
- Proven track record designing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL/database concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills with experience leading remote teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Lens
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools
