QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive testing approaches from concept to delivery, including test plans, automation frameworks, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with development, product management, and customer support to integrate quality practices throughout the SDLC
• Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated test frameworks for API, UI, integration, and regression testing
• Lead a remote team of testers by delegating work, providing guidance, and offering mentorship
• Report and track bugs with detailed reproduction steps and perform root cause analysis for critical issues
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance
• 2+ years of experience in a test automation development role
• Proven track record designing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
• Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL/database concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills with experience leading remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS environments
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Lens
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
• Knowledge of security testing principles and tools
