QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and automated tests to support web platforms
• Work with other Quality Engineers to ensure effective verification of test specifications
• Identify areas requiring quality improvement and implement action plans
• Develop new automated test scripts
• Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to validate user needs
• Perform smoke tests and regression testing, both manual and automated

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript
• Strong experience in designing and executing complex test plans
• Strong experience with Playwright
• Applied knowledge of manual testing
• Experience in automated API testing using Postman
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Ability to assist in production deployments on alternating Friday evenings (4pm - 7pm PST)
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Experience with Python or Go
• Knowledge of CI/CD and experience with Jenkins or CircleCI
