QA Engineer – Performance Testing

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end performance testing for enterprise-level backend platforms
• Define performance test objectives and key metrics aligned with business and engineering goals
• Develop, debug, and optimize JMeter scripts for complex test scenarios
• Execute distributed and high-concurrency load tests to simulate realistic traffic patterns
• Identify system bottlenecks through detailed performance analysis and root cause investigation
• Collaborate with backend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to improve system scalability and resilience
• Continuously refine performance testing strategy, tools, and automation pipelines

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with JMeter, including scripting, test planning, and distributed execution
• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodology and bottleneck analysis
• Familiarity with backend architecture and system metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network)
• Proficient in analyzing server logs, APM tools, and monitoring dashboards
• Experience with protocols such as HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, or Dubbo
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into the release process
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a data-driven mindset
