QA Engineer

Pasito is the AI workspace for employee benefits. We’re rethinking how group insurance and benefits are underwritten, delivered, used and measured by bringing plan design, payroll, benefits data, claims, and financial context into a single, AI‑native workspace.

Responsibilities

• Own testing for the document product and critical high-impact flows used by insurance carriers
• Design and execute test strategies for AI workflows to validate correctness and reliability
• Write and maintain robust end-to-end (E2E) tests for core user journeys
• Balance manual exploratory testing with automated testing
• Validate quality across data flows, backend logic, and frontend experiences
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to evolve quality standards
• Partner with the Forward Deployed team to QA specific client portals

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience testing complex software systems
• Deep fluency in QA fundamentals including test design and regression strategies
• Ability to test AI-assisted systems and probabilistic outputs
• Technical curiosity to reason about systems beyond the UI layer
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test planning
• Proficiency with test automation tools, particularly Playwright
• Hands-on exposure to AI or LLM-powered tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services
