QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans and test cases for motion-based games and the Nex Playground experience
• Validate core player experience for living-room play including onboarding, clarity, and responsiveness
• Test motion-game fundamentals such as latency, recognition consistency, and occlusion handling
• Perform functional, usability, regression, localization, and device/compatibility testing
• Write detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and video captures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify requirements and flag risk areas

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in IT or the game industry
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Hands-on comfort with hardware and TV setups and basic troubleshooting
• Willingness to perform physical movements during testing and appear in internal recordings
• Genuine interest in games and player experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Cantonese and/or Mandarin fluency
• Experience testing camera-based, motion, AR, or computer vision products
• Experience testing multiplayer or party games
• Familiarity with Unity, Android-based hardware, or mobile gaming
• Experience with test automation or scripting
