QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Execute and validate API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Write and run SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity
• Conduct manual testing to support exploratory testing and edge cases
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA
• Ensure proper test coverage and maintain comprehensive test documentation

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Software QA with a strong focus on Automation Testing using Java and Selenium
• Solid knowledge of SQL and the ability to write complex queries
• Experience with API testing using RESTful services
• Proven understanding of manual testing processes
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Exposure to test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
