QA Engineer (Manual Tester)

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications
• Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing
• Validate Trade Finance workflows and transactions
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate payloads, headers, and authentication
• Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and QA reviews
• Prepare test execution reports and status updates
• Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities

Requirements

• 2.5 to 7 years of experience in manual testing of enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman (HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication)
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge
• Domain knowledge in Trade Finance (Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Import/Export Finance, SWIFT, etc.)
• Experience with test case design techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience with Jira or similar test management/defect tools
