QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, functional, and other types of testing for ISS applications and services
• Review requirements, create, execute, and document test cases
• Plan, design, and document test suites for underlying infrastructure
• Report and track bugs using JIRA
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and global teams to ensure products meet business specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify root causes and coordinate fixes
• Assist in writing test cases for automation suites and executing automated tests
• Contribute to Java automation development using Java and Selenium (approximately 20-30% of the role)
• Maintain and fix existing or newly created automation frameworks

Requirements

• BE, B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Proficiency in Java or another Object-Oriented Programming Language (OOPL)
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking systems
• Experience interacting with RDBMS, ideally with SQL in an MS SQL Server environment
• Experience with Linux OS preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
