QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and clarify business and system requirements
• Review functional requirements and technical design documents to ensure effective test coverage
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing across various applications and releases
• Proactively identify, log, track, and validate defects throughout the test lifecycle
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and adapt to changing priorities
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and risks to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience testing distributed systems and SaaS-based applications
• Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation and testing relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development models
• Strong understanding of Black-box and White-box testing techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare domains such as HIS, EMR, Health Insurance, or Hospital Billing systems
• Exposure to automation testing using Java with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or RestAssured
• Knowledge of HL7 FHIR standards and healthcare interoperability testing
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools for test case optimization and defect analysis
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket
