QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough functional, regression, and exploratory test plans across features and releases
• Contribute to and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify requirements and surface quality risks early
• Write clear bug reports, test cases, and test summaries for stakeholders
• Identify gaps in existing test suites and propose improvements to coverage and processes
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives with a quality-focused lens

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on QA experience in a product or software engineering environment
• Solid experience with both manual testing and writing automated test scripts
• Familiarity with at least one automation framework (e.g., Maestro, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium)
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and failure scenarios
• Excellent communication skills for working in a fast-paced startup environment
