QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for a next-generation social platform, including manual validation and automated frameworks.
• Establish rigorous testing workflows and test plans for high-velocity creator ecosystems and internal content operation tools.
• Build, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites across APIs and user interfaces to accelerate regression testing.
• Perform deep functional, integration, and performance testing on core services supporting media processing and real-time social features.
• Partner closely with product managers, backend engineers, and AI teams to catch bugs early and enable rapid MVP releases.
• Optimize QA infrastructure by improving testing tools, environments, and CI/CD integration.

Requirements

• 1+ years of QA engineering experience with a track record of building automated test suites in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
• Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Technical skills in web and mobile inspection, log analysis, and database verification to root cause defects.
• A product-centric mindset with a deep interest in end-to-end user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile applications for iOS and Android and managing mobile release pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance, load, and scalability testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
• Knowledge of video streaming protocols, media processing pipelines, or WebSockets.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
