QA Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise quality assurance and quality control functions within the laboratory
• Implement quality programs and updates to maintain compliance with corporate standards and lab accreditation
• Maintain local calibration and verification schedules for critical instrumentation and equipment
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual internal audits on local methods
• Initiate Corrective Actions by conducting root cause investigations and implementing preventative actions
• Set up, evaluate, and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts for methods and equipment
• Provide SOP training and refresher training to staff regarding accreditation requirements
• Identify and drive continuous improvement activities for the site

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Laboratory experience is preferred
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and internal auditing
• Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours and handle laboratory glassware
