QA Automation Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and train a team of QA Automation Specialists
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration levels
• Lead the development and execution of AI-driven test automation strategies to improve software quality and accelerate release cycles
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure scheduled and automatic execution
• Review pull requests, manage the automation backlog, and prioritize areas for automation
• Investigate and diagnose automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Mentor team members and act as a technical leader for test excellence
• Drive continuous improvement using data-driven quality insights and AI-generated analytics

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a management role leading automation efforts
• 8+ years of experience in automation testing (unit, functional, integration, UI, performance, and scalability)
• 8+ years of experience in manual testing
• Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or SoapUI
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, C#, or VB
• Experience with SQL scripting and database querying
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (e.g., Git)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing Software as a Service (SaaS) based products
• Knowledge of the payments industry
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
