QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to validate data layer specifications.
• Write automated test cases using Cypress or Playwright with TypeScript to validate analytics implementations.
• Implement and maintain continuous regression testing for data layers during pre and post-release checks.
• Identify and resolve issues related to analytics data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize analytics implementations to ensure comprehensive tracking of user interactions and business metrics.
• Document test plans, test cases, and results related to analytics testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex analytics issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
• Mentor junior team members in analytics validation and automation practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on analytics testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics and experience with analytics objects on web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright using TypeScript for regression testing.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the e-commerce or retail industries.
• Familiarity with the Shopify platform.
