QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze testing requirements and develop testing scenarios
• Design, create, and review test cases based on specifications
• Prepare test data, tools, and environments for execution
• Execute functional and non-functional tests
• Report, track, and verify defects
• Support knowledge management and participate in testing discussions
• Provide training and instructions to newcomers
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in responsible areas

Requirements

• 4-8 years of QA Engineer or QA Leader experience
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools (ALM, TestRail, TestLink, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall SDLC
• 2+ years of experience maintaining automated test cases for mobile, web, or APIs
• Proficiency with Appium, Selenium, or Rest Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitrise
• Ability to write SQL, Java, or C# for automation frameworks
• Experience creating complex SQL queries for verification

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB or equivalent certification
• Experience testing Android and iOS mobile applications
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in the financial or payment sector
• Experience running performance tests using Gatling, Wrk, or Jmeter
• Experience with bash or CLI scripting
• Ability to leverage AI/LLM-based tools in daily workflows
