QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test suites for backend systems, APIs, and databases
• Develop reusable automation frameworks using Python and C++
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform database validations including SQL queries and consistency checks
• Participate in client discussions and provide clear test strategies
• Drive cross-team collaboration for integration testing between trading engines and risk systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated regression and smoke tests
• Support performance and load testing under real-world scenarios

Requirements

• Understanding of multi-threaded programming
• Network and socket programming knowledge
• Experience with inter process communication
• High ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and a team player
• Results-oriented focus on KPIs
