QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for Finacle functional and regression testing
• Test Finacle customizations including custom menus, batch jobs, reports, and EOD/BOD processes
• Validate Finacle integrations and API-level testing of inbound/outbound interfaces
• Write and execute SQL/PL/SQL validation scripts against Oracle DB for backend data verification
• Build and maintain regression suites that can be triggered across release cycles via CI/CD pipelines
• Perform defect triage in collaboration with development and functional teams
• Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and UAT support directly with banking clients

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of QA/Testing experience, with at least 3 years specifically on Finacle Core Banking
• Hands-on experience with Finacle 11x functional flows and customization layers
• Proficiency in Selenium + Java (TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle) or Playwright + Node.js
• Strong banking domain knowledge regarding account lifecycles, transactions, and interest processing
• Experience testing Finacle Interfaces such as Connect 24 and Finacle Integrator
• Solid SQL/PL/SQL skills for database validation and checking stored procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Finacle certification from Infosys
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced)
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Exposure to Finacle on cloud or containerized deployments
• Prior experience in a banking client-facing delivery role
