QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Python and Selenium
• Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing
• Work with APIs using Postman for testing, automation, and validation
• Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira
• Monitor application performance and logs using Datadog and Elastic (ELK Stack)
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders on release management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Knowledge of Git and Jira
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Elastic
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Selenium-based automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of performance and/or security testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience generating insightful test reports (e.g., Allure, pytest reports)
