QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Transform high-level requirements into optimized test coverage and enhanced customer experiences
• Automate and maintain test cases using automation best practices and maintain CI/CD pipeline frameworks
• Code E2E, System, and Performance automated tests using Jasmine, Cucumber, Webdriver.io, Typescript/JavaScript, and Python
• Develop Rest API testing automation
• Drive test strategy, test plan writing, and lab or simulation environment setup
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and investigate software defects
• Raise Agile Jira bugs and report on automation status
• Research new tools and methodologies for test automation

Requirements

• Proficiency in testing automation with Typescript/JavaScript, Python, Jasmine, Cucumber, and Webdriver.io
• Experience with backend testing using Rest API automation tools and Postman/Newman
• Experience with load testing using JMeter and Grafana + Prometheus
• Hands-on experience with container management using Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance
• Experience working within Agile scrum teams and DevOps processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain expertise in Telecom, OSS, NMS/EMS, SDH, or DWDM
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or Neo4j
• Familiarity with Test Management tools like TestRail
• Experience with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
