QA Automation, Co-Op

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze product requirements to provide feedback on clarity and testability
• Collaborate with feature developers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Plan, design, document, and perform tests for both software and hardware products
• Identify, reproduce, and report product defects with detailed configuration and reproduction steps
• Assist in the diagnosis and replication of product failures
• Create and maintain documentation for test and development operations
• Review test automation reports and address failure points in existing automation code

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering (Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Software) or Computer Science
• Experience with Python, Ruby, or other scripting/programming languages
• Understanding of architectural and Object-Oriented (OO) design patterns
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and participate in group discussions
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker containers
• Experience with source control management tools
• Previous experience in software and/or hardware testing
