QA Analyst/Tester

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated validation suites for web, mainframe, API, and desktop applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST Assured.
• Integrate LLM-based capabilities into automation pipelines, including natural-language test generation and intelligent failure analysis.
• Perform file-based validations (PDF parsing, flat files) and validate email workflows.
• Validate core banking functionalities including checking, savings, loans, and payment systems (ACH, Wires, RTP).
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, bringing up risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Strong experience in API testing using REST Assured or Postman.
• Solid understanding of databases, including SQL, Oracle, or DB2.
• Domain expertise in North American Retail Banking and Payments.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with mainframe automation tools and terminal emulators.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms or advanced automation tool certifications.
