QA Analyst - Enterprise Technology [Automation Engineer]

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to reduce manual testing efforts.
• Implement a shift-left approach by collaborating early with developers and product managers to identify risks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback on code changes.
• Conduct technical testing including API, performance, load, and database integrity verification.
• Manage defects by performing root-cause analysis and tracking bugs using Jira.
• Champion AI-driven quality initiatives, leveraging Generative AI and NLP to automate script development.
• Review business requirements and user stories to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
• Provide quality reporting to stakeholders regarding software readiness for release.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a middle-level QA Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Postman, and Swagger.
• Experience with API, unit, UI, browser, and performance/load testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience working within regulated environments and understanding associated risk and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with tools including Jira, Xray, Bitbucket, AWS, Splunk, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or previous experience working within the financial services domain.
