PyTorch Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new features and maintaining existing ones
• Developing and maintaining unit, component, and integration tests
• Optimizing the software stack for performance
• Managing complex technical tasks and cross-team dependencies
• Managing code quality, complexity, and technical debt
• Providing technical leadership and contributing to team direction
• Contributing to technical documentation, user manuals, and tutorials
• Conducting code reviews and resolving regressions or defects
• Coaching and mentoring team members
• Working with upstream open-source development teams

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills
• Experience with Python development
• Experience developing performant C++ applications in a commercial setting
• Experience in ML kernel writing, compiler development, or ML framework development
• Experience in a computationally intensive engineering field

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of AI/ML
• Understanding of computing architectures
• Experience maintaining and supporting complex code bases
• Experience in profiling and optimizing high-performance code
