Python Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based tools to optimize heat conductivity in satellite components
• Assist in improving component layout design
• Build surrogate machine-learning models for heat-transfer prediction
• Implement optimization workflows using Python frameworks such as Pyomo
• Utilize both stochastic optimization methods and gradient-based approaches

Requirements

• Background in Mathematics
• Familiarity with linear algebra, optimization, and calculus through coursework
• Knowledge of basic machine learning techniques
• Proficiency in Python programming
