About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend logic using Python (Django) framework
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations
- Design database schemas and manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA team to deliver complete solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and apply best coding practices
- Deploy applications and manage services on Linux-based environments
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Python and Django
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and web architecture
- Strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Experience working in Linux environments and handling server-side deployments
- Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or automated deployment tools
- Familiarity with frontend integration such as React.js
- Understanding of unit testing and TDD
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development
