Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable, timely, and accurate data and analytics for trading and research teams
• Develop data pipelines handling terabytes of exchange traffic with real-time transformations
• Perform analysis ranging from nanosecond-level investigations to research on pricing algorithms and trading strategies

Requirements

• Excellent Python skills with experience in complex production systems
• Solid experience with SQL and modern database technologies
• Strong business communication skills
• Ability to solve unfamiliar problems quickly and creatively
• Interest in trading and finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling large data sets and time series data
• Knowledge of data engineering for batch and streaming pipelines
• Familiarity with data serialization, messaging middleware, and data lakehouse technologies
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Modern C++ programming skills
• Front end development with React and TypeScript
• Knowledge of financial markets, specifically equities and options
