Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI following SOLID principles.
• Develop and optimize data processing pipelines using Pandas and NumPy for large datasets.
• Design and implement database schemas and data models optimized for financial data processing.
• Build robust data integration layers connecting backend services, databases, and external financial data sources.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures for backend APIs.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code coverage and system reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation on Confluence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django).
• Strong command of Python with an emphasis on object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Deep expertise in data processing libraries, specifically Pandas and NumPy.
• Solid experience with RDBMS and SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis).
• Proficiency with ORM libraries such as Pydantic or SQLAlchemy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable backend architectures.
