Python Developer (Django)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and determine integration needs
• Design new software and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applications
• Develop software update processes for existing applications and assist in the roll-out of software releases
• Train junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications
• Oversee the researching, writing, and editing of technical documentation, including software designs and test results
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet all specifications and technical requirements
• Monitor and evaluate industry technological developments and competitive products

Requirements

• Professional experience with Python development and creating/developing RESTful APIs using Django
• 2+ years of experience working with backend-related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a relatable technical field, or equivalent professional experience
