Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and sustain Python-based applications and 3rd-party integrations for the Aurora Platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while conducting code reviews to ensure high quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable software solutions.
• Debug and fix issues in existing Python codebases and optimize application performance.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including documenting and maintaining software functionality.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation through monthly R&D demos and annual department-wide hackathons.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Proven ability to contribute code independently and collaborate with multiple developers.
• Experience impacting the architecture and design of large-scale, distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• A clear history of technical influence, such as public conference talks or published papers.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Go, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or REST APIs.
