Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Django and FastAPI
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs
- Implement efficient database schemas and optimize queries
- Implement containerisation using Docker and container orchestration
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using microservices architecture
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Document technical specifications and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize tasks
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Django and/or FastAPI
- Proficiency in SQL and ORM frameworks
- Experience with Docker containerisation and orchestration
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash/Power-Shell)
- Understanding of micro-services architecture
- Experience building server-less back end
- Knowledge of deployment and debugging on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
